Carl is originally from Mississippi and is the maker of Mississippi Disabled Veteran Crappie Thumper Jigs. He currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a Pastor and a Police Chaplin for Lawrence and Cumberland Police Department.
He currently fished his local tournament trail, Indiana Slab Masters where he placed 11th in the 2021 B & M points race. He also fishes the Crappie USA Amateur Trail and placed 8th in the tournament they held this year on Mississinnewa/Salamonie Lake.
