Joe is the owner and operator of the Crappie Ninja Guide Service in Georgia and has been guiding for 7 years and was featured in the October 6th, 2021 addition of Georgia Outdoor News Magazine in an article titled “Lake Jackson and The Crappie Ninja”.

Joe had a Top 10 finish at the American Crappie Trail General Tire Qualifier held in February on the Alabama River and reeled in a 3.08 lb Crappie in March at the ACT National Championship at Lake D’Arbonne which landed him the Big Fish Award. He is the 2021 Bigfishheads Oconee Derby Champion reeling in a 2 lb 5.7 oz Crappie. Joe also had a great year in 2020 finishing 12th at the Wally Marshall Invitational at Table Rock Lake in Missouri and 7th at the ACT Tournament held on Grenada Lake in Mississippi.
He fishes several local tournament trails including Peach State Crappie Club, Georgia-Lina Crappie Club, and GA Slab Masters where he has numerous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
Joe lives in Monticello, GA with his wife of 27 years.
