BLACK SPECK FISHING & TACKLE is very proud to announce that we have added “THE CRAPPIE COWBOY” Craig Nichols to our Pro Staff.
Craig has many top place finishes. He had an amazing year in 2019 when he won the Crappie Masters National Championship, Crappie Masters Louisiana State Championship, and placed 2nd as Crappie Masters Angler of the Year.
He then headed into 2020 where he placed 3rd in the Amercian Crappie Trail Tournament held at Grenada Lake and qualified for the Crappie Masters and American Crappie Trail National Championship.
Craig had multiple top 10 finishes in 2021 and again qualified for the Crappie Masters and American Crappie Trail Championship.
2022 is off to a great start, placing 3rd in the Crappie USA Tournament held at Lake D’Arbonne, 6th at the Crappie Masters Tournament at Lake D’Arbonne, and he has already qualified for the Crappie Masters and American Crappie Trail National Championship.
In addition to fishing many tournament trails, Craig is the owner of Crappie Cowboy Guide Service in Locust Grove, Oklahoma where he was born and raised. He was also a bull rider for 32 years and placed 11th in the world and won the Reserve World Champion Title in 2018.
Craig lives in Locust Grove, Oklahoma and has one daughter and two grandchildren and WOW, he is one busy guy!!!
